Could you please elaborate the reason for this decision? The images I have uploaded are all free of copyrights and gave more insights for the particular pages. It feels that removing all of them is bit harsh without explaining reasonable facts.

Picking three more or less at random:
  • File:MahamayaGirlsCollege crest.png: gives a source of https://mahamayagirlscollege.lk/school-crest/ (a link that doesn't work for me) and an unexplained date of 1932-01-14 (hard to say for what: it could be the date of a related design, but the graphic itself is clearly computer-generated so can't be from that era). Claims PD-US but gives no rationale, doesn't indicate anything about copyright status in Sri Lanka.
  • File:Dharmaraja College War Heroes' Memorial.jpg: Photo of a memorial, apparently in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has no freedom of panorama, so if the memorial is still copyrighted it is certainly not OK. Says {{Cc-zero}} and "author unknown" (an unlikely but not impossible combination that would require some evidence). Source given is just a domain (dharmaraja.lk), no specific URL so there is no way to check it.
  • File:Amarasiri Kalansuriya.jpg: photograph, dated 2023-04-01. Source is https://www.adaderana.lk/news/89496/veteran-actor-amarasiri-kalansuriya-passes-away. It's the first photo there. Described as PD-US (which frankly beggars belief, and no rationale is given). Why would this image be in the PD in the U.S. (or anywhere)? Source page says "Copyright ©2024 Ada Derana." No idea whether that is legit for the photo, but that's really neither here nor there: no reason to think it is PD or free-licensed.
So, I can't say that there is no possibility that any of Viru96's uploads are OK, but if I had been the one who sampled and saw this, I'd probably have said "just delete it all, and if there is something that's OK, or even some class of things that should be OK, the user can make a specific case for it in an undeletion request."
@Viru96: with all due respect, it looks like you are trying to upload a lot of different types of things, with a lot of different copyright issues. When your block expires, I strongly suggest that unless you want to undertake a "crash course" on copyright, public domain, valid licenses for Commons, etc. you confine yourself to some narrower area(s) for a while (giving you a chance to learn the rules about those areas), and maybe find a mentor who is willing to review your uploads for a while to see if you are getting it right. Most, possibly all, these images are of the Kannada actor Darshan. The currently known socks are:

  1. After 100% disruption / vandalism in 4 edits, do you think this user is likely to edit constructively later? Is it a good start here? Why don't you block him / her immediately, so we are safe for the future? And if the behavior changes, then a new start will be possible (AND better).
  2. Why has this vandal not been caught earlier? It appears (from today only, just by chance) that the authorship of the images has been diverted during 3 years. Nobody noticed, no user, no admin.     1. There have been cases where vandals have a few years later made constructive edits. Blocking them a few years after they vandalised is simply unnecessary, since blocks are preventative and not punitive. There's also the additional complication the user wasn't warned the first time.
    2. Sometimes subtle vandalism goes unnoticed. It just happens sometimes. I remember reverting some vandalism at File:Edgar Allan Poe Signature.svg from 2015 in 2022! In this case, just revert, warn and move on. Of course, if it is happening recently, then report here.

My potential future block

I will admit, in the past I did upload pictures that were copyright. I apologize and it is my fault. Currently I am 1 copyright violation away from being blocked. It makes sense, if some of the photos that were deleted and taken down weren’t against copyright. These include File:Mighty Music Group with Afroman (cropped).jpg (the original was deleted and since I cropped it, I got a violation), File:Karroll for POTUS 2024.jpg, File:Art Olivier 2024 via art2024.org.webp (Photographer Art Olivier he sent email to VRT) File:Randall Terry in 2024.jpg (cropped image of other image that is copyright). In addition, I uploaded File:William Lee Hunt for President.jpg 2 times before I uploaded this file. It was deleted because they claimed the YouTube video it’s from (https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=iAvDIO7Z-b7OCe3o&v=F0i5KXMs2A4&feature=youtu.be) doesn’t have YouTube CC-BY marked, though it does. It’s currently being deleted again for the same reason, along with files File:Jackie Carpio, Host of Personal Politics.jpg and File:Daví for President.jpg that are derived from the same video. For what its worth, both links are marked CC-BY, but I would need to dig deeper as to the origin of the image(s). @LordBirdWord, Here's the situation: while the videos are marked CC-BY, that doesn't meant that everything in the video is automatically CC-BY. If I put a copyrighted song in a video marked CC-BY, the music is still copyrighted. Thats why even if the video is marked with a compatible license, an image in their might not be OK to upload. We call this "license laundering". The other problem is you reuploaded a file that had been deleted, rather than requesting undeletion. If an email was sent to VRT, then you need to put {{subst:PP}} on the image so that admins know that it might be a week or two before VRT confirms that its ok. A read of com:scope might be useful here.

The warning was off the back of the fact that LordBirdWord has five months of talk page warnings for falsely uploading other people's social media video stills as "own work", and that after Commons:Deletion requests/Files found with @GeorgeMicro1 was closed last month with concerns that George Micro's Twitter content might also be using other people's video stills with false claims, LordBirdWord had uploaded more George Micro content with (at the time) dead and unverifiable YouTube link sources.
The most recent discussion at Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by LordBirdWord wasn't that the content doesn’t have YouTube CC-BY marked, it's that it's from George Micro, who from recent history seems like he may be mistaken when he says that a piece of content is his own work and can be CC-BY licenced to his name. This user has provided numerous files with the tag "no source". However, all the ones I looked at had "own" as the source and were clearly marked as source={{own}}. So these are masses of incorrect deletion requests.
Some of these files have already been deleted and subsequently removed from the articles - that's how I noticed it. For instance: File:Herfried Mencke (2011).jpg was deleted by User:Krd.
The user, who has been a member since 2015, has not yet responded to questions on his discussion page. I have now left a clear message and asked him to undo his edits.
Please be careful when executing deletion requests from this user!
The user is currently submitting mass deletion requests for photos of Greek statues (I'm not an expert on this and haven't read up on it).

@Emha: Hello, I just answered regarding the cases-examples that you mentioned on my user talk page. Now, regarding the photos of Greek statues, unfortunately, Greece doesn't have FOP (Freedom of Panorama) and actually has a rather strict legislation regarding that matter. Unfortunately, however, not many people are really aware of that. Even myself, personally, I discovered this during my time over here. The only possible issue for this matter would be, most probably, a legal reform that would loosen - at least a bit - the current legal frame in place. Pornographic photo dumping

It appears that SarahAnnFlickr (talk · contribs) is uploading only nude and explicit photos that are not being used by any page. I'm not very familiar with Commons' rules, but using it as a host site for such photos that do not appear to have value to any other wikis seems like it would be a problem. I am currently working on Wikipedia editions in different languages ​​(see [5]).
I take the opportunity of this work, to put each of the logos used in these Wikipedia editions in the right category. For example, I add the "Category:Dagaare Wikipedia logos" to the "File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-dga.svg", I do not of course touch the already existing category.
I have made several requests (see "Category:Commons protected edit requests") but no one comes to make the requested changes.
To simplify my work and to simplify the work of the administrators, I propose either to unprotect the files on this page: "Commons:Auto-protected files/misc/logos", or to give me temporary administrator status.
For information, if you want to modify the files concerned, you get the following message: "This page is currently protected from editing because it is transcluded in the following page, which is protected with the "cascading" option enabled"

@Berdea: there is absolutely no chance you will be given temporary administrator status. That is like saying to someone who operates a company's fleet of vehicles, "I need to get to the store, can I have the key to every car in the fleet?"
Unprotecting the page Commons:Auto-protected files/misc/logos will do exactly nothing to help you edit any of the logos that are on the page. Request Indefinite semi-protection for Category:Georgiy Pavlovich Osipov

Rationale: Dear Administrators,

I am requesting semi-protection for a category page related to my grandfather, Georgiy Pavlovich Osipov. I am actively involved in uploading his documents and photographs to Wikimedia Commons, and I have created a category page to organize these files. I am concerned about potential vandalism, given the biographical nature of the content.

Semi-protection would prevent anonymous and newly registered users from editing the page, while still allowing established editors to contribute. I believe this level of protection is appropriate to deter vandalism without unduly restricting collaborative editing.
